Canelo vs Jacobs Live, Watch Online, Full Fight: One of the most-anticipated boxing matches of 2019 is finally upon us. Saturday night, unified middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez will put his trio of 160-pound titles on the line when he battles IBF champion Daniel Jacobs.Who will win Saturday’s title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs? The two boxers are arguably both in the prime of their careers and each will bring a trove of skill and determination when they meet in the ring at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Alvarez (51-1-2, 35 knockouts) is the favorite in the battle for middleweight supremacy. He holds both the World Boxing Assn. and World Boxing Council middleweight titles. Jacobs (35-2, 29 KOs) is the International Boxing Federation middleweight champ.
Alvarez and Jacobs have seemingly been on a collision course since both signed with streaming app DAZN in 2018, and the company had hopes of the two facing off sooner than later.
Alvarez is coming off his debut victory with DAZN in November where he scored a decisive third-round TKO over Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden. Jacobs, meanwhile, scored a split decision win over Serhiy Derevianchenko (a former training partner) in October.
The winner on Saturday could emerge as the next challenger for another recent DAZN signing (and Canelo rival) Gennady Golovkin. Golovkin is scheduled to face Steve Rolls in June, but most expect him to face the winner of this fight in September or October.

It's also the toughest to call. Alvarez was a 4-1 favorite on Friday, despite Jacobs's sterling record (35-2) and impressive resume. Both men have shared the ring with Gennady Golovkin—Alvarez fought him to a draw in 2017 and eeked out a narrow decision win in 2017, while Jacobs lost a close decision to Triple-G in 2017—and both possess sharp knockout power.
Jacobs believes that Canelo is an ideal style matchup for him, and he says it so forcefully it’s easy to believe him. And speaking with Golden Boy executives this week, there’s an equal, if not stronger fear of Jacobs than there was against Golovkin. No doubt, Canelo will have a lot to contend with. Jacobs is a terrific athlete, and I imagine that part of the game plan will be to avoid presenting Canelo with a stationary target.
